When In Ipoh : Eat This!

Must-try food in Ipoh : Personal favourites ❤❤❤

1. New Hollywood, Taman Canning

New Hollywood jadi tumpuan sebab semua jenis masakan (Chee Cheong Fun, Laksa, Mee Kari, Char Kuey Teow, Rojak, Toast @ Telur Goyang, Nasi Lemak, Cakoi etc) ada under 1 roof. Konsepnya macam vendor boutique, only its restaurant -yang mana different person yang sediakan Chee Cheong Fun (chinese cook), orang lain pula yang sediakan Nasi Lemak dan kuih muih (malay cook)

Note : But my personal favourite is Laksa Siam

Chee Cheong Fun, RM 3.50 OMG! May choose either prawn/chicken filling

My personal favourite - Laksa Siam, RM 5.00

2. Gerai Nasi Goreng Udang

Bukan untuk mereka yang ada sakit gout atau dalam pantang, tapi sesiapa yang I bawa datang sini memang puas hati. Udang penuh sepenuh nya jadi ready sajalah nak inject kolestrol ke salur darah. Dont worry, udang di sini fresh for sure!

Nasi Goreng Udang, signature dish kedai, RM 14.50

3. Patisserie Boutique Cafe, Ipoh Old Town

Area Kong Heng Square Market memang ada banyak hipster cafes yang rata-rata worth trying. Bila rindu Ben's KLCC, I'll be having meals in Plan B. But then, my personal favourite untuk coffee session would be Patisserie Boutique (personal favourite sangat).

Personal favourite, Latte

Area Kong Heng Square Market

Milkcow pun ada (seberang Patisserie Boutique Cafe/Plan B Ipoh)

4. Old Town Signature @ M Boutique Hotel Ipoh

Kalau rasa suka Old Town White Coffee, cubalah ke Old Town Signature

5. Restoran Tasik Raban

Restoran makanan melayu yang sedap. Specialty Tasik Raban = gulai tempoyak. My friend from Penang pun puas hati bila bawa datang sini.

Ikan bakar pun ada. Ikut selera masing masing. Price varies

6. Nasi Ganja @ Kedai Kopi Yong Suan

Mana mungkin datang Ipoh tak singgah makan Nasi Ganja! Its not particularly my favourite, tapi my husband suka sangat! Hihi

Keadaan masa lunch hour (look at that queue!)

7. Chang Jiang White Coffee Cafe

The pressure is on bila Dina said she wanted a place to drink some authentic brewed Ipoh White Coffee so I did some research. Kami pilih Chang Jiang. Sebab masih takut takut, upon take the seat kami consult dengan waiter di cafe -kami tanya coffee dia halal tak. Waiter cakap coffee dia halal (rujuk SINI untuk status halal Chang Jiang Coffee). And untuk food, dia suggest untuk makan toast sahaja. (Mungkin yang lain diragui status halal)

Nota : Tak semua coffee halal sebab sometimes dia goreng beans dengan elemen-elemen tak halal hehe

Chang Jiang White Coffee

Pork Free for sure, tapi kalau ragu-ragu janganlah malu bertanya. Kalau pergi overseas pun tahu minta makanan yang halal, kan?

I took a sip dan terus tak boleh minum because its tooooo strong (P.s. im not a coffee person)

Sekian. Hope it helps!
