Baby Haul 2026 : Wishlist

12:20 PM

Preparing for a new baby in 2025/2026 feels different — calmer, more intentional, and honestly… a lot smarter. Maybe it’s because I’ve done this before. Maybe it’s because many of the things I bought in 2016/2017 (during my first & second pregnancy) turned out to be surprisingly timeless and still perfectly relevant today.

I’m actually quite proud of how well those purchases aged. A lot of “hi-tech baby gear” from back then still works beautifully now — proof that choosing quality over trends really pays off.

✨ What’s on My Wishlist (2025/2026 Edition)

1️⃣ Baby Brezza Bottle Washer Pro

Since I’ll likely go through confinement mostly on my own (in my own house), this little machine is at the top of my wishlist. Anything that speeds up washing + sterilizing + drying = a win.

I need all the help I can get. This will be top of my list

2️⃣ Joie Roomie Glide / Joie Roomie Go

My mom wants me to do confinement at her house, but I’m honestly most comfortable in my own space. So I’m looking for the most compact, travel-friendly bedside sleeper just in case I end up moving between homes.

Still comparing Glide vs Go — whichever folds better will win.

3️⃣ Nuna Leaf Baby Swing

I’ve researched a few swings before, but the Nuna Leaf has my heart simply because it supports up to 60kg. A swing that grows from newborn to big kid?
That’s value (hopefully)..

Note : 4moms MamaRoo was an option too (because of few different swing mode/rocking) but a tad too small that is limited to newborn), but Nuna is winning so far.

4️⃣ Stokke Tripp Trapp

The dream high chair — one that grows with the child for years. Classic, ergonomic, long-lasting.
My only problem? I still can’t find the walnut brown anywhere (Happikiddo/Mothercare), and that’s the only color I really want. I already sold my old high chair (IKEA) because I want to upgrade to high chair that matches current dining table.

Still hunting!

🍼 What I Already Have (and Still Love)

These are the items from 2016/2017 that are still going strong, and I’m excited to reuse for Baby #3:

Doona Carseat/Stroller

It blew everyone’s mind back in 2016/2017, and honestly… it still does. The Doona remains unmatched for sheer convenience. The one-step carseat-to-stroller transformation is still the gold standard for parents who hate fumbling with bulky gear. For school runs, quick errands, airport travel, or solo outings with a newborn, nothing else matches its practicality.

Back in 2016, people never heard of Doona and Grab drivers always asked me where did I find such convertible stroller (drivers seeing me with stroller, they always go back to open boot but I converted the stroller to become seat in no time, surprising them!). I had to specifically imported Doona in 2015, but now Doona is being sold/distributed everywhere! Hehe

Ergobaby Omni 360

In a world full of new flashy carriers, the Omni 360 remains a classic because it was already ahead of its time. The ergonomic seat, lumbar support, breathable materials, and multiple carry positions mean it’s still one of the most comfortable carriers for both parents and baby. The fact that the stitching, cushioning, and structure have held up for nearly a decade? Proof that good design doesn’t age.

Spectra Breastpump

The Spectra is still loved because it works. Powerful suction, comfortable letdown mode, reliable parts, and seriously strong motor longevity. When it comes to output and reliability, Spectra remains the industry’s quiet powerhouse.

Tommee Tippee Sangenic

This was a new-ish product when you used it in 2017, and the fact that it’s still part of your must-have list says everything. Even now, in 2025, the Sangenic continues to be one of the best-performing diaper disposal systems. The twist-and-seal mechanism is simple but so effective — no weird lingering smells, no embarrassing “nursery scent,” and even your mom approved (which is the real certification 😂). Best part? The cassettes are still being produced and widely sold. Time to stock up before baby #3 arrives!

Graco Extend2Fit

Back then, it was a top pick for extended rear-facing safety. Today, the same model still meets current safety standards and continues to be praised for its durability. The cushion hasn’t flattened, the structure hasn’t degraded, and the seat still provides plenty of legroom. The Extend2Fit proves that safety-focused engineering doesn’t expire — it matures.

Stokke Flexi Bath

This tub hasn’t changed much because it didn’t have to. The fold-flat design, lightweight build, and sturdy material make it just as usable in 2025 as it was almost a decade ago. It fits into modern bathrooms, small condos, kampung houses, hotel sinks — anywhere. Every year brands release “new” baby tubs, but none beat the Flexi Bath’s simple brilliance.

Even back then, I use IKEA bath tub and still buying Stokke Flexi Bath because of its compact fold, fits nicely in bathroom.

Wooden Playpen

Simple wooden playpens never go out of style. No electronics, no plastic, no trend-based design — just solid wood, safe structure, and enough space for baby to explore. The fact that yours is still in great condition after all these years shows how well-built it was. With minimalistic parenting and Montessori-style setups trending hard in 2025, your classic wooden playpen fits right in.

💛 Preparing Slowly, Calmly

This time, I’m not rushing any purchases. I’m choosing items that fit my lifestyle now — things that make the newborn phase easier, smoother, and a little more peaceful.
