The Day My Son’s Roller Coaster Dream Came True : The Lost World of Tambun, Ipoh, Perak

5:36 PM

After our fun indoor day out at Berjaya Times Square Theme Park, I knew deep down that my son’s roller coaster dream wasn’t fully satisfied yet.

So the following month, we packed our bags and headed to The Lost World of Tambun, Ipoh, thinking the rides there might be milder and more kid-friendly.

It turned out to be one of our best family trips this year. 💛

I remember back then in 2020, we went here almost every week! (post-pandemic, the ticket was selling cheap heheh). The park is as always, still stunning — surrounded by limestone hills and lush greenery that instantly makes you feel like you’ve escaped the city. We spent the whole day hopping between fun and relaxation.

Unlike the extreme ones elsewhere, roller coaster here just right — thrilling enough for kids but still safe and fun. We rode it several times, both before and after exploring the water park. His laughter on every loop made it all worth it!

To capture the joy, I made a CapCut video compilation of our rides and adventures:

We started the stroll around dry park (cat's house, petting zoo and all) and then straightaway went to the water park (Seff's favourite!)

The Tiger Show were other major highlights. We remember watching this previously, and congratulations to SLWOT for keeping up with the activity & show! They're good.. as always

We left The Lost World of Tambun with wet hair, happy hearts, and a roller coaster memory that will stay with us forever.

Until next post!
