Travelogue : Melbourne, VIC, Australia (1 of 5)

Part 1 of 5 : City Tempo, Melbourne (Hotel review)

We just completed the Melbourne/Sydney 2017 (aka Birthday) trip recently.

We stayed at the City Tempo, a short-rental Studio Apartment in the Melbourne CBD. The booking is made through ExpediaMY website.

We wanted to stay in the CBD because of the free trams (in which, however, we didnt hop on a lot) ; and we learned that most of the tour companies for the Great Ocean Road Day Tour offer pickup from locations in the CBD area

So here is our review for the City Tempo in Melbourne CBD :

City Tempo, Melbourne CBD from the Queen St.

It is located superbly close to the Queen Victoria Market, and you could buy almost anything from the market!

On the first day, we went to the QV Market to get some organic items (while I think I still want to eat healthy on this trip, but stay tuned to what I exactly eat LOL) so we bought these items:
1. Avocados (organic)
2. Lemons (organic)
3. Musli (organic)
4. Milk (organic)

We went to another section selling souvenirs and already bought tshirts (for ourselves), boomerang (for Stepdad) etc (plus do a market research so I could inform my friends who'd like to kirim some items)

Queen Victoria Market, so close from the City Tempo (see also others review on website)

The room. We book a studio room with balcony

 At night time

Mini kitchenette. But what we actually use is just dinnerware (and the sink) hehe

The toiletries.

P.s. Didnt use them & are brought back to Malaysia. Could be useful for our Guest Bedroom bath.

Overall, the room we were staying is well maintained, modernly decorated and equipped with more than enough appliances (TV, Sound system, mini kitchen, kettle, ironing board & iron, hair dryer, dishwasher, washing machine etc). We got everything and therefore, love this place.

But we love it more because of its location!

Its so close, my husband could easily buy flowers from the market and set this up :

Breakfast on my Birthday

The staff is also really helpful (Thank you, Mohamad from the City Tempo) when he helped us with tour booking and provided us maps and give suggestions and brief a bit about the free tram zone.

Ohh, and their bed & pillow is really comfortable! Like, really comfortable (to the extend of mentioning this on my review!)

Till my next post!

Hotel rating : 4/5, for its location
