As I celebrated my birthday this year, I was overjoyed with a sweet surprise that made the occasion even more special. I got promoted to a higher grade! (Mind you, our Department has the slowest in promotion because of low number of officers, hence fewer positions to advance into). The news of my promotion to a higher grade was thrilling, but the available postings were in Terengganu, Johor, Kedah, and WPKL which scared me (if I had to moved elsewhere). However, the sweetest birthday gift = I was assigned to an office in WP Kuala Lumpur, which is the closest to our home in Sepang.

The following week post-announcement was filled with heartfelt celebrations and therefore -farewell (again).. I was also mistaken by my previous officers from Ipoh office, that I am rumoured to return back to my previous office hehehe..

On my final week of working in Cyberjaya, it started with a close, meaningful lunch with my team (Unit Pakar 2), reflecting on our achievements and memories. The following day, it was a lunch with my higher-ups & project team. The highlight of the week was a gathering with my close girlfriends, who had nothing to do with my line of work, but we have been chilling together for a long time.

As I packed up my things and prepared for the next chapter, I felt deeply loved and appreciated. This promotion marks not just a career advancement but also a reminder of the supportive people around me. Here's to new beginnings and cherished memories!
