 I always wanted to create a blogpost on how to spend a day in KL feat. all the good things in KL but I am always stuck around Bukit Bintang : the heart of KL.

To date, the ideal day if one (traveller) had to spent in a day in KL would be visiting our skyscraper : the PETRONAS Twin Towers -the tallest twin towers in the World (remain unchallenged since 1996)

But I am still stuck with food choices -its either not good, or inconsistent quality/taste

Recently I saw many influencers recommending Broom Artisan Bakery in Bukit Bintang, but we want to try their PJ outlet first -just getting to know it first. Afterall, it was our 13 years anniversary as a couple, bonus if can good food during this bruch date!

I rate the food 2/5 overall because the taste is so-so. Worst part is their chickrn kaarage, totally undercook! Sent back to kitchen, just to have them came back to us totally burned!

We tapau-ed them back home, and still couldnt touch it 😂 instantly became nightmare to me as well..

 Every year, we decided to check-in to random stay(s) or hotel just to mark our milestones of being with each other..

Year 1 = Avani Sepang Goldcoast Resort

Year 2 = Best Western i-City, Shah Alam

Year 3 = Regalia Suites, KL

Year 4 = The Haven, Ipoh

Year 5 = Hilton Hotel Malacca

Year 6 = MiCasa All Suites

Year 7 = Ipoh Bali Hotel

Year 8 = Dorsett Hartamas KL

Year 9 = AMI Suites Hartamas KL

Spending time chilling but mainly choose this stay due to their picturesque pool (that looks like we're somewhat in Greece?) As seen in IG reels (sorry I don't have TikTok!)

The room is small, nothing to shout, but it matches the price we paid (not too expensive!)

We are still together for almost about 10years, that is an achievement!

Until towards the year end 2022, Euseff is still obsessed with Toy Story! This year, he imitates a lot of Buzz Lightyear's phrases (similar in movies) and keep singing toy story songs. I was left with no choice. Zero. Nada.

So I started searching for Buzz Lightyear cake design, and we decided to do Buzz Lightyear theme

DIY the whole decoration as usual (inspo from pinterest, IG etc), this time I bought the backdrop for future use 

The final setup and decoration is as follows, later that day we were schedule to visit Seff's new school for 2023 -nervous and excited at the same time!

It was a small, intimate celebration at home. We are glad despite being super busy with work, we are able to make it. Next, will briefly write about Seff's birthday celebration & farewell at his daycare (Taska Kementerian)

 It was time of the year again, where I'll be planning on triple celebration starting October, because this means : Husband's birthday in October, Our wedding anniversary in November & Euseff's Birthday in December. I am always excited for year end!

But this is the time when I started working in new place, new environment..

When I joined the state post, they are currently going towards closing account -meaning every projects must come to an end! There were series of meetings from the top management to monitor the status of each projects, which made my working days super busy -filled with testing & commissioning (T&C) of each and every projects. The list is long, but all I can say is I went on up to 4 projects in a day!

On husband's actual birthday, it was weekday so I just asked him to meet me after work where I bought a small sized cake (tapau cake is from Sugarcandy MY). So we sang happy birthday song and blow off candles. Happy Birthday dear Husband!

And then time passes so fast, it was suddenly our wedding anniversary! >.< That weekend, I treat my husband to lunch at newly opened Christine's Bakery at IOI City Mall

We had pasta (to share with us + Euseff), their infamous bagel and desserts to share. I really like their Wagyu Steak Out! It was nice timing to have this good food after a series of encounter(s) & bad food reviews in 2022!

We decided to delay our annual Wedding Anniversary trip & celebration due to super busy schedule..

 This was late post, but sadly 2022 is the year of farewell and goodbyes

We started to bid farewell to Siti, my Protege in Sub-unit/Zone 2. Siti started her journey in our office in October 2021, so after almost a year, she is leaving our Division for another full-time position. To celebrate this team of 4, our Head of Team (Dr Tajul) treat us to a lunch nearby office

Siti left around mid-August 2022.

Later in October 2022, I was promoted and transferred to state (Selangor) from Federal (Govt of Malaysia). Who knows my time in my former Division (design & project management/supervision) is not long (2021-2022).

With all the experiences in Design, Project Management/Supervision & Human Resource & Financial Management, I wish to survive in state Selangor easily..

My farewell was held months later, but I am moved by the effort & time spent!
