This year, we decided to make gift boxes for husband boss & colleague since Lunar New Year is approaching.

I just bought new block of butter (250g only) and pretty much covered 5~6 boxes of this gift boxes. The important, star of the gift box is definitely Pineapple Tarts. It's everywhere!

Woke up at 3am, made the tarts and by 7am they were all done!

As for the 2nd cookies, I thought a simple red velvet cookies matches the theme (gold & red for CNY)

And then the following day, I went out after work to search for the matching boxes (matched well with the 2 cookie containers) and in 1st visit, found golden boxes! You'll know it's a good day when everything you are looking for easily found.

Husband's company also arranged a dinner together on Friday, so the previous night (before distributing this gift), I baked 3 marble cakes for all staffs (Malay and Chinese included)

Hope my husband's boss and colleague happy to receive them all!
