This year, we celebrated my husband's birthday with a day off work and just the two of us enjoying some quality time together. Here's how our perfect day went:

Had breakfast with son until we dropped him off to school, we started the "date" with lunch at Maria KLCC and ooh the food was incredible. My husband had the Hereford Grainfed Ribeye, which was hands down one of the best steak he’s ever had — tender, juicy, and well seasoned (there's not a single thing to complaint/change). I opted for the Grilled Salmon & Garlic Butter Prawn, and it was just as delicious (cannot complaint anything either!). The salmon was so flaky, and the prawns taste better than the lobster we had at Kay's, looooove that rich garlic butter sauce. 

We both agreed it was one of the best meals we’ve had in a while. We spent a good amount of time enjoying our food, chatting, and soaking in the relaxing atmosphere.

After lunch, we went for our usual "us-time" ritual — watching a movie together. This time, we saw We Live in Time, starring Andrew Garfield. It was a beautifully crafted film about love, life, and the choices we make — with a subtle but important lesson about the passage of time. We both really enjoyed it, and it left us reflecting on how we spend our time and with whom.
