Euseff's 8th Birthday : Our Boss Baby
10:54 AMSome of our guests reacted with genuine shock when they found out how far along I was (7months pregnant)!
A little throwback to December 2025, when my little boy turned eight. It was a particularly special birthday for us because, at the time, I was already seven months pregnant with his baby sister. Knowing that I would probably tire easily, I decided to keep the celebration small and intimate, inviting only a handful of his closest friends + a few of our close friends.
For the food, I kept things fairly simple. We ordered nasi Arab from Saba, while I prepared the pasta myself. I also wanted to make a few things from scratch, particularly the desserts, so I tried making Biscoff cheesecake cups for the first time. IKEA meatballs served in little cups were another easy addition that turned out to be surprisingly cute on the table. The whole food spread looked so pretty, I'm a proud mom!
The theme for the celebration was, of course, Boss Baby. It was such a fun theme to work with because there were so many little details that could be incorporated without making the decorations feel too overwhelming. We had a custom Boss Baby cake, cupcakes and cream puffs (all bought).
One of my favourite details was a little briefcase filled with baby bottles containing Hershey’s Kisses chocolates — it was a small detail that tied the theme together beautifully.
For the birthday favours, each guest received a black box designed to look like a little briefcase, complete with a handle. Inside, I packed cookies, milk and a custom activity book for the children to enjoy
Eight years of my boy, one very memorable Boss Baby celebration, and a baby sister waiting to make her grand entrance. Looking back, I think keeping things small was exactly the right decision. It was simple, personal and full of the people who mattered most — and somehow, even at seven months pregnant, we pulled it off. 🤍
Happy 8th birthday, my boy. You will always be my first Boss Baby. 🖤🍼
